Dare you sacrifice your very being for the chance to become something far greater than before?

Gold Weight is something roleplayers have craved since Morrowind was released. Ever found it a little unrealistic that you can carry thousands of gold pieces on you without a single point of encumbrance? Ever been annoyed by the existing Goldweight mods that break the game, and wind up completely screwing your encumbrance? Yes, me too. So I wrote this: Morrowind's first working goldweight mod. It does not require either Bloodmoon or Tribubnal to play. Following is an extract from the readme:

Gold now has an effective weight of 0.01 per gold piece. I say effective weight, because I haven't actually added a weight to gold pieces themselves. Instead, a number of 'dead weights' are added to the players inventory equal to the number of gold pieces held. This has the benefit of not causing any of the encumbrance problems associated with giving a weight to gold, and additionally it will also not conflict with any mods (such as gold texture replacers) that change the default gold_001 properties.

The mod is automatically triggered when you set foot outside the Census and Excise office in Seyda Neen. If you've already started your character, then you can instead open the console window and type 'startscript, vn_goldweight'
