Who the heck is Aareon?

     Aareon is a character that came into being in a rather incidental way. As I was preparing this mod or that texture, I needed to give the work a context. Aareon provided that for me. His tales and tragedies are in the books I wrote that explained things like, why are the trees this color or why is the ground funny? As the amount of work I had grew, so did his character. Every tileset and story behind the mods I worked on included him somehow. He also provided me with a convenient set of initials for the naming of the nifs and textures. AA.

     The story is fairly simple. He is a wanderer from somewhere else. He is educated and very old. Having lost his memory in an accident, he is searching for the one thing he does recall. During his searches, he manages to find things no one else has ever heard of or seen the likes of. His ability to do this is as mysterious and magical as he is. No one has ever seen him. Yet he has many friends. If you ask around, people will half remember someone that sort of looked like that but they aren't sure. The few people who are sure, won't talk about it.

     Over the years, his name became one of those hush hush legends. People sometimes gossip about his exploits. Others treat his name like it were evil. A few curious and brave souls have made a task of trying to find the truth out. Is he an Orc? He must be, his bravery is mythic. Is he an Altmer? He must be, his magics are powerful. Could he be a Daedra? Maybe, maybe not. Everyone claims he is their own yet no one really knows. The only thing anyone is sure of is someone keeps finding strange places within the province of Morrowind and leaves journals behind.
